How our staff feel about working for us

“I have only just joined the Forward Dental care family. The staff at FDC really are a team, everyone works together to provide the best care possible to patients and to create a positive work environment for all, I really enjoy my job working as part of the front of house team in reception.”

“I work on reception two days a week and am a new employee. Everyone at the practice has been super friendly and made me feel very welcome. I would 100% recommend working for FDC.”

“I have recently joined the practice and every member of staff has made me very welcome!
I have found a job that I actually look forward to going to!”

“Chris is such a compassionate employer, he has provided flexible working and working from home options during covid . I love the fact that Chris is a very fair and approachable Employer. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.”

“Forward Dental Care have a fantastic team, who are positive, friendly and encouraging. Whilst doing some specialist training, I failed an exam, which was really disappointing for me. I had so much support and encouragement from the team, that support gave me so much confidence. I passed the second attempt with flying colours. I am now the lead Nurse at the practice and I love it. The Management team are always so supportive and helpful. We really value teamwork, everybody is important.”

“I left a high-pressured job within a corporate organisation to come and work at Forward Dental care. It took some getting used to as everything was so different but it has been the right decision for me. I now have a work life balance. I get a full hours lunch break everyday were I can pop home for lunch if I wish. I have the time to be creative and use my skills as I am given autonomy. The team have been so welcoming and Chris is the best boss ever! I love my job.”

“I first started working as a part-time dental nurse in 2001. I qualified with stoke dental practice and was fully supported throughout my training. As my daughter grew up, I gradually increased my hours. I moved over to work in reception about 8 years after joining and then had the opportunity to become the Practice Manager in 2015. I have worked with several business coaches and now work in finance. I am currently undertaking a professional Accountancy course with AAT, this is all funded and supported by the company. It’s a great place to work and I am fortunate to have a wonderful boss.”

“I love the fact that we are encouraged to be the best we can be. Opportunities for training, undertaking a variety of roles, taking on additional responsibilities and self-development are an important part of our team culture. This helps us to understand each other’s pressures so enable us to support each other well.”
